Getting an Improved Cardiovascular Workout with Free Weights

Free weights are an ideal way to start a low cost strength training workout program at home, but what about a cardio workout? Without any cardiovascular training, you’re getting only half the benefits of working out. Cardio exercise burns calories which is fundamental to weight loss. Face it, most of us start a workout program with the goal of losing weight, the better overall health is just icing on the cake.

The added weight will improve the cardio benefits of your walking and the dumbbells with help tone your arms. You can but a set 0.5kg, 1kg and 2kg pairs of weights and gradually move up in weight. You can also buy ankle weights to help strengthen your legs. Now you have a complete workout that fits into anyone’s budget.
