I’ve been coming to my mind with diabetes for over ten years. I enlisted the help of my doctor and dietitian, but I know that ultimately, the major contributor to how well they cope with diabetes me!
Coping with diabetes has mainly involved changes in habits that poor nutrition. I know I’ve actually been guilty of skipping breakfast. But as the number one lesson is that diabetes should have at least three balanced meals a day. Breakfast is probably the most important of all.
I appreciate the advice from a nurse. She told me to make sure I go to breakfast cold hot breakfast every other day. This in his words can sometimes allow “trick” in the metabolism of their work a little harder for you. Also prevent you from being bored with the same old bacon and eggs every day. Search me doing this I hope for breakfast a little more.
Sometimes we, as diabetics may have other family members to attend to other responsibilities or simply to manage. Diabetic education, I learned that all these should have a back seat to keeping your diabetes or keep it under control. So the breakfast ready for the family, but be sure to sit and eat a balanced breakfast before or with your family.
I’m actually finding I have to change my mentality. I’m not naturally inclined to me, the first way of doing things but when it comes to diabetes, and when you see all the damage they can do to you, first my attitude is a little easier to implement in your life.
