Corns on Feet and How to Treat It

Corns on feet are one of the most common feet pains. Usually, they are found on the top of the toes. Helomas is another name of the corns. It is the thickened areas of skin. It is a response to excessive pressure and friction. The corns appear to protect the skin and the structure beneath from damage or injury. The forms of corns on the feet are usually hard and circular.

In the middle of the corns, there are translucent centers. Corns could be very painful because of the inflammation and infection around the center. Therefore, you should take care of the corns carefully. Otherwise, the inflammation and infection might be worsening.

Basically, there are two types of corns on feet. The first type is named the soft corn. It occurs as the result of bone abnormalities in the toes. Moreover, the soft corn develops between the toes. The second type is hard corn. This is the most common type of corns.

Usually, it is found in people with thin skin and prominent bony toes. In addition, hard corn is caused by ill-fitting shoes and toe distortion. You should use padding to protect the corns on feet. Furthermore, you have to use the pumice stone regularly. Do not forget to use the best medical product to cure the unwanted corns.
