There is no specific treatment for all situations, management will depend on the cause that led to the loss of consciousness.

General measures
For any situation of this nature must consult their physician to determine the origin, the time can do the following:
* Keep the airway clear (nose and mouth)
* Loosen tight clothing, especially around the neck
* Keep the person lying down for at least 10 to 15 minutes with his head at a level slightly below the feet
* If there is presence of vomiting or food in his mouth, put his head sideways and remove the contents
* In case of bleeding, try to control it by exerting pressure on the exit site of blood
* If you suspect a fracture, do not move the affected
* Shelter the person to prevent heat loss

Prevention
* If the person has a disease, it must be under medical supervision
* If you have any evidence of a possible loss of consciousness is that the patient sitting or lying down for 10 to 20 minutes until you’re feeling able to fend for himself
* Do not give food or drink until fully conscious
